Environmental Health & Safety

The Five Colleges of Ohio consortium, in order to mount an organized, multi-campus approach to managing environmental impacts, brought together the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) managers of the five institutions into one central resource team, called the EHS Roundtable. In addition to the advantages of working as a coordinated group, we also provide a regional influence, as the colleges are located in five counties spread broadly across the north-central region of the state. The members of the Roundtable meet regularly to address environmental issues that face the colleges. The EHS Roundtable will work with regulatory consultants to develop up-to-date environmental documents and teaching materials that are tailored for the complex, small-college situation. The EHS Roundtable functions as a regional network of peers to facilitate collaborative EHS policies, procedures, and education projects.
