Library of Record for Print Titles
General
Guidelines:
- Library
of Record volumes will be retained either at the home library or at
CONStor.
- If any library wants to withdraw or move to CONStor
any titles or volumes on this list, please check with Library of Record
first to make sure their holdings are complete and that copies in
best physical condition are kept.
- Volumes held at CONStor become the de facto
copies of record no matter which library owns. It is still the responsibility
of the Library of Record to make sure that ultimately the most complete
and best set is kept for the consortium.
- Copies not designated as record copies may be kept
or withdrawn by libraries as they wish.
- If any library does withdraw paper volumes of JSTOR
titles, the volumes first should be offered to the Center for Research
Libraries for the CRL/JSTOR
Print Archive.
- If your library is the Library of
Record and has a current subscription to the title, it is preferred
that the library maintain a current subscription and continue to bind
volumes as they are completed. However, a library may cancel a subscription
with appropriate advance notice to other consortium members.
