Ohio Five announces search for Director of Consortial Facilities Systems and Programs

Posted on July 7, 2021

The Five Colleges of Ohio has announced the creation of a new position -- the Director of Consortial Facilities Systems and Programs -- to oversee its shared facilities work management systems and enhance collaboration between our colleges’ facilities departments by streamlining work processes and collecting and managing data to support facilities planning, asset replacement and capital projects.  The new position follows a 17-month joint project by Denison University, Kenyon College, Oberlin College, and Ohio Wesleyan University to implement TOPDesk, a comprehensive work management system. Together, the new system and its staffing aims to realize the colleges’ goal of transitioning from reactive work processes to data-focused strategic planning and decision making for facilities.

The four collaborating colleges have formed a search committee that is now considering candidates for the position, which will begin in the 2021-22 academic year.  Interested candidates may review the job description at ohio.org/jobs and apply for the position at careers.kenyon.edu.
