CONSORT: A Shared Library System

CONSORT Logo

CONSORT is the name of the integrated library system shared by Denison University, Kenyon College, Ohio Wesleyan University, and the College of Wooster. The system currently runs on the Sierra library services platform from Innovative Interfaces. The library system was formed at about the same time the consortium itself was established in 1996, and in fact, it is the first project around which the consortium's founders focused their collaborative efforts. A grant from the Andrew W. Mellon foundation for $840,000 provided the resources to establish both the administrative structure of the consortium and the technical infrastructure for the library system.
