Session 3: Flux Capacitors and Neural Networks: Back to the AI Future

Have you considered how our past and present shape our readiness for an AI-centric future? Join us for an engaging, time-travel themed lunchtime session to explore AI's role in higher education!  

Hosted by Caitlyn Deeter, Educational Technology Associate at The College of Wooster, this session is structured into three acts:

  • ACT 1: PRESENT
    Examines the range of responses to AI in higher education, from rejection to acceptance, and contemplates future pathways.
  • ACT 2: PAST
    Offers a succint history of AI and investigates its similarities with past technological innovations, highlighting their profound effects.
  • ACT 3: FUTURE
    Reflects on the uncertain future of AI in education and the critical role our choices have in shaping this constantly changing field.

This is the third session in the OH5 Virtual Lunchtime Series: What’s Up With ChatGPT?, taking place on January 24, 2024, from 12-1PM.
