The 2024 Ohio Five (OH5) Annual Dance Conference will be held on Saturday, February 24, and is being planned and hosted by the Denison Dance Department. The conference theme, "What Grounds You?", explores how dance can serve as a grounding force in education. The program features a guest performance by Dayton Contemporary Dance, as well as opportunities for attendees to participate in various workshops and interactions throughout the day.
The annual conference is a consortial program that unites dance students and faculty members from its member institutions, including Denison University, Kenyon College, Oberlin College, Ohio Wesleyan University, and The College of Wooster.
This event encourages idea-sharing, networking, and strengthens the OH5 dance community by providing a full day of workshops, performances, and opportunities for students and faculty to collaborate and form connections as colleagues.
