As the Manager of Purchasing and Contract Services, you’ll be responsible for the development of specifications for purchases, RFPs, contracts, agreements, MOUs, and supplier management.  You will direct the preparation and review of all procurement and contractual bid documents and assist in vendor selection for bids. You’ll manage Ohio Wesleyan’s participation in consortia contracts negotiated by the Five Colleges of Ohio and maintain relationships with procurement staff employed by the other institutions in the consortium.  You will assist in the development of policies and procedures, review of business operations, and the assessment of procurement processes.  You’ll monitor vendor performance in relation to executed contracts and amendments for compliance with terms and conditions.

The Department of World Languages and Cultures at Ohio Wesleyan University is seeking a part-time instructor of French to teach two courses this spring, with the possibility of continuing, pending review. Required qualifications include a master’s degree in French, native or near-native fluency in French, and evidence of teaching experience at the college level. Preferred qualifications include a Ph.D. and demonstrated excellence in teaching. We are especially interested in instructors who are familiar with recent trends in curricular design and teaching methodology, prepared to contribute enthusiastically to discussions about the curriculum, and eager to collaborate with colleagues in the department.

Our Accounts Payable Accountant  is responsible for Full-Cycle Accounts Payable processing including examining, verifying and reconciling a variety of transactions. This process includes daily matching and posting of a large volume of purchase orders to vendor invoices in our Jaggaer software.  This individual is the primary liaison between the Accounting Department and the Purchasing Department and performs the day-to-day functions associated with Accounts Payable. They are also responsible for various financial and accounting activities and assists in preparing for the annual external audit.
